2. 2020 Beautify the Bayou

   Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission, which is committed to enhancing the community environment of the City of La Marque, announced the launch of their 2020 Texas Trash-Off event, taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at La Marque City Hall. Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission invites individuals of all ages to participate in the event and help keep La Marque clean and beautiful. VOLUNTEER GROUPS NEEDED TO CLEAN LA MARQUE ROADSIDES KLMBC is seeking volunteer teams to clean up ditches, parks and known dumping areas. A contest for most bags of trash collected is planned. Group prizes are $200, $100 and $75. Individuals prizes are $100, $50 and $25. Groups will meet in the La Marque Community Room and be provided with materials including gloves, safety vests, trash bags and bug spray.
