National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones.
NATIONAL WORK ZONE MEMORIAL
The National Work Zone Memorial is updated annually and includes more than 1,600 names to honor individuals killed in work zone tragedies. The physical traveling Memorial visits sites across the country and the new virtual Memorial is available for online or in-person meetings and events. The ATSS Foundation's core purpose to spread awareness for work zone safety aligns with the mission of NWZAW.
